Meditations on The Message is a Meditation Retreat that focuses on the teachings of
Hazrat Inayat Khan. The classes below focus on a body of teachings on Training the Ego. The teachings are supported with supplemental readings, meditations, and breath practices, which are all aimed at the development of mastery over the limitations of one's own personality and character, and the softening of the self-cherishing ego.

In the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan: The manner of friendliness is considered as the main part in the study of Sufism, for the Sufi in all ages has given great importance to the art of personality. As Sufism is the religious philosophy of love, harmony and beauty, it is most necessary for a Sufi to express the same through his personality.

It is true that the finer the man is the more he is subject to be hurt by the smallest disturbance that can produce irritation and disharmony in the atmosphere.
